Returning to blogging after weeks of silence…!
Both myself and Eve suffered the viral fever and cough, and it was pretty bad. The flue and cough was basically everywhere, in schools and offices. As a nation, we seriously need to improve on health care – starting from garbage cleaning up and dumping – to clearing up mosquito breeding sites and controlling spreading diseases. If we could win a war against one of the world’s most deadly terrorist organizations, I guess none of this is impossible!
So sickness aside, there are 2 things that I wanted to report on, and both related to WSO2:
[1] For the last several weeks, the Oxygen Tank team worked hard deploying a new library solution that is now available at wso2.org/library. This cool new library deployment captures the essence of the last library deployment and the one before, to offer a composite solution. New library solution offers the ability to search by WSO2 product for library content, plus, search by category and tag cloud – all the while maintaining a list of the most fresh content on top. Do drop by and let us know what you think – we are always open for comments, so go ahead raise a JIRA requesting feature improvements or bug corrections in true open source development style!
[2] WSO2 recently won an award in the SOA and Middleware category, awarded by SD Times 100: 2009. We are proud and honored to be listed in this category as “leaders and innovators”, back to back in the last year and this. Thank you SD Times for the appreciation!
